I do not know who Jeremiah's parents were but I do have a Jeremiah PITT
witnessing a will for David Henry, dated 13 March 1837, probated Dec. term
of Court 1846- WB 13 p 57 in Robertson Co., TN. Pernesia HOLMAN's parents
were Pendleton HOLMAN and Nancy TAYLOR. Pendleton's parents were James
HOLMAN and Sallie CHOWNING. I have nothing on who Nancy TAYLOR's parents
were.
Edwin A. JONES' parents were William JONES [b.1833 m.1855] and Huldah
BINKLEY [d.1835]. Children of William and Huldah Binkley JONES:

Evaline HOLMAN [d.@1835] whose parent were the above mentioned James HOLMAN
and Sallie CHOWNING. She was a sister of the Pendleton HOLMAN. When
Evaline died her very young child, William, was given to her brother
Pendleton to raise.
Clara P. JONES PITT's great grandmother, Evaline HOLMAN, and John Franklin
PITT's grandfather, Pendleton HOLMAN, were brother and sister.
